Central Europe (Mitteleuropa, German) is a term used by the Austrians to describe the part of Europe of which Austria is the center. It includes the totality of neighboring countries of Austria (Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, and others) which, on a map, look as if they are clustered around Austria.
