In scope of execution engineering control is any goal-oriented activity.
Examples of control processes
- Fix bug X in a piece of software (modify the software so that in a particular situation the software behaves as desired).
- Buy groceries in a supermarket.
- Self-edit several chapters in a novel.
Counterexample
Brownian motion is not a control process.
